This Privacy Policy explains how Autolux Center (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit autoluxcenter.com, contact us or use our admission guidance services. We handle academic records and family information every day, and we treat that responsibility seriously.
We collect information you give us directly, including your name, email address, phone number, the service you are interested in and anything you write in our enquiry form. When you become a client, we may also collect academic transcripts, certificates, test scores, identity documents required by institutions, statements of purpose, CVs, recommendation details and information about funding or family circumstances relevant to scholarship applications.
We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as browser type, device type, pages visited and approximate time of visit, through cookies and server logs.
We process personal information because it is necessary to provide a service you asked for, because you have given consent, because we have a legitimate interest in running and improving our practice, or because the law requires it. You can withdraw consent at any time where consent is the basis.
We never sell personal information. We share it only when needed to deliver your service: for example, with educational institutions or scholarship bodies you choose to apply to, with secure software providers that host our website, email and forms, and with professional advisers or authorities where the law requires. Every provider we use is expected to protect your data to an appropriate standard.
Enquiry information is kept for up to twelve months if you do not become a client. Client files are kept for the length of the service and up to three years afterwards so we can answer follow-up questions or support later applications, unless you ask us to delete them sooner and no legal obligation prevents it.
We use access controls, encrypted connections, secure hosting and regular software updates to protect information. Paper documents are kept in locked storage and returned or destroyed securely at the end of a service. No system is completely secure, so we also limit the information we collect to what is genuinely needed.
You may ask to access the information we hold about you, correct inaccurate details, request deletion, object to certain processing or ask for a copy of your data in a portable format. To make a request, email us. We will respond within thirty days and may ask you to verify your identity first.
Many of our clients are school students. Where a student is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian is aware of and agrees to our services, and we involve them in key decisions.
We may update this policy when our services or legal requirements change. The “last updated” date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
